Does any other than myself trade like this?

I use Mnq for placing my trades while using Nq charts to enter or exit a position. I do this because the charts seems less noisy.

Any thoughts on this ?

Volatility Differences: As you noted, MNQ tends to exhibit higher volatility compared to NQ. This is partly due to the smaller contract size, which can attract a different type of trader, including more retail participation. Higher volatility can lead to larger price swings, which might affect the precision of your entries and exits if you're not accounting for this.

As a failed nq trader Lol I can say the noise is within a couple Ticks... so if you are looking for larger moves (10 points or more) than in my opinion no difference ...

Nq is no doubt the hardest. What are you trading now?

NQ chart for decision making, MNQ for trading?

I have noticed differences in the range for 5 Min candlesticks, MNQ can be larger, but the highs of the peaks and lows of the valleys are usually the same.

If you are more productive doing it that way, why not.

Depends on your entry style and risk management, if static SL, I think better to stick with NQ, or optimize SL choice (risk exposure) based on MNQ
