Hello traders and coders. I use NT8 and the “Strategy Builder” program for simple strategies. I created one for a 233 ticks chart with “Conditions” and “Buy Orders” for Go Long and Go Short by adding an “Additional Data” (4181 ticks). The problem with “Strategy Builder”, tell me if I'm wrong, is that if you want the for "Go Long" or "Go Short" to be automatic, you have to work in “On bar close” mode. In the strategy I used “variables” to calculate some values comming from the “Additional Data” (4181 ticks). Long short story, I thought everything was calculated at the end of each “bar” of the 233 ticks chart, but I've discovered that this isn't the case for variables that use “Additional Data”! It seems that the values of the 4181 ticks chart are calculated at the end of each 4181 bar and not of the 233 ticks chart. On the other hand, when I use the same conditions, without the "Go Long" or "Go Short" in an indicator, and with the “On price change”, all the calculations are good and I get what I want. My question is this: is there a way to program or code NT8 with a strategy so that orders generate themselves, but calculations are performed on each price movement of 233 ticks chart?
