So I have a strategy that performs great when first loaded into a chart AND when the chart is making new bars just fine.

BUT...

When I put this strat into "AUTOMATED ORDER EXECUTION" (AOE) mode (connected to paper trader for obvious reasons), it doesn't calculate the contracts correctly.

WHY?

I get that there is slippage and that could factor in, but, the problem is that once the strat identifies that it's at it's peak profit after making up for a loss, for some effing reason, it still trades as if it's behind.

Even worse, when I have two charts (IDENTICAL) open with the strat loaded in both. One working in real time AND AOE is turned on, and the other working in real time but AOE turned off. In this scenario, the one with the AOE turned off is functioning just fine as the logic would have it function and the chart with the AOE turned on is trading in the right spots, but not calculating the contracts correctly after making a deficit.

Does anyone have any insight or have this happen to them as well and if so, what is the remedy?

Thanks
