Hi there,
does anybody know how to code a "price line indicator" this draws a horizontal line at the current price - but what i would like is a horizontal line at the current high of the volumeupdown indicator in the indicator panel. many thanks for your help

Here is a simple version that works in real-time. It does not use a custom plot, but the line adjusts to the last bar in your database.

If you scroll the chart back horizontally, the line will keep its last value, this is expected. You can update the chart then via F5. If you scroll the chart forward the line will update.

If you want that the line aligns itself to the last bar plotted on the chart, this would require a custom plot and cannot be done in a few minutes.

First try it. To understand the limitation of the indicator:

If you compare the NinjaTrader default RegressionChannel indicator to the RegressionChannel indicator that I posted, you will find

- that one keeps itself aligned to the last bar of the database
- whereas the other one moves with the chart window

That solution is possible as well, but requires more coding.
