my name id David and come from Czech Republic. I have discovered trading 5 years ago. I was a student without money, so i have not take it seriously. But as soon as possible, i have found a job and now, i pursue trading 14 months. In this time, i have traded 1 month live, but ended with - $300 (of course, that it was thanks my psychology). Now, i have my own trading system with no indicator. Indicator just disturbs me. I am posting a picture below, you can see, what i see.
Since tomorrow I want to trade SIM for 2 weeks. If it will be accord the play, i start live.
I would like approximate my system. System is not aiming on earning money (of course, it is profitable), but it is aiming on learning to trade (for example in November 2009 i have got only 3 setups). System is for trending market, because trading with trend is easier. System get me lesser setups, because less setups, less mistakes. Mistake is good thing, but it is danger to the start (for example over trading). Well, i am posting pictures with equity curve and some numbers. It is 104 trades for 7 months. Not large, but not bad.
Hello, I havent give up or something else. I just get more ideas to improve the strategy, which should more fit to my personality. So I am backtesting now and then i will continue here.
Im back again. Now I have complete trading plan. Yesterday i have made my first SIM trade.
Before setup: I was not sure, it is valid setup. (accord the plan it was. In the end i get the setup.)
During the trade: I wasnt confident, that trade will end eith profit. (cca 10 minutes was the price in internaval $0 ; -$25)
Conclusion: The emotions, what i have had showing, that i have no confidence in trading plan.
Yesterday i have made 2 trades. Both of them was lost.
I was little bit more confident (wasnt sure before 1st trade). Trading plan says, that after 2 losing trades in a day i quit trading platform. So I did it.
Yesterday was a choppy day. Im trading only with trend, so yesterday i was without setup.
After a 1 hour I stopped to devote attention (i always checked the graph, but not with higly priority). I must see advanced trend, and it take some time (so i noted it and i would be back in).
