There are two reasons to use CFD's.
1) Tax advantage
2) Undercapitalized
Consider trading CFD's the same as placing a bet with a bookie. Sure most of the time he is going to pay out when you hit your number but there is always the chance that he found a discrepancy in your initial bet ("I thought you said Cincy not Philly, I put you down for 20 large for them to LOSE!")
I have quite a bit of experience with CFD brokers and the only one's that honor their bids are the extremely large brokers who derive most of their income from sports betting not financial markets. The small time shops which use Metatrader are going to screw up your trading so bad if you use any decent size. Fills will get so bad you might have half your profit sucked out of your exit.
To be fair I don't know if it is actually the broker doing this or if they simply cannot honor their quotes because of connectivity issues.
Either way If you have more than 2,000 USD and you want to trade futures, stay away from CFD's.
