This link is to Prospreads video helps they are a UK firm based in Gibraltar that provides a Spread betting environment that gives you direct market access taking their prices direct from the live market and not like all the other spread betting companies who are all market makers and hence make their own prices. For those not aware of Spread betting it is a way to trade stocks/forex etc without any tax liabilities on you winning but you can not offset losses against you tax bill. Tax free profits ...."if"....you are profitable:-), But in all other respect you can trade it the same as normal.
Prospreads try to be more professional by allow only those with a £2500 deposit to open an account whereas the other spread betting companies you can usually open with £1-200 really these others are just an echo of the forex bucket shops in the US.
Enough of background. I trade on 3-5 range bars I am a scalper that will let a trade run if it has the legs. So I need reliable fast executions. My question is could someone have a look at the link above and spend 2-3 mins looking at the ladder video and give me some feedback on how good or bad it is. I use NT7 but never the DOM as I love the chart trader so I have zero experience with Ladders DOM etc. I want to learn how to trade using a Ladder but want to choose my first learning experience carefully in case I get bad habits etc. Or does that matter? Really what I'm looking for from you who are DOM traders is your impressions on the prospread platform compared say to NT or MC. How does itcompare? Has it any clear ommisions or flaws? Is it ok and or even good as its completely free to use live. Or would I be better learning with a NT7 DOM. I'm interested in your view of its functionality since I have no benchmark to compare it to, not having any experience on a DOM.
I appreciate all your help in advance..................Thanks!!
