I made a study that, when added to a chart or dom, will tweet the trades made.
Right now it tweets when a position is opened like:
ktrader is long ES entering at 1400.00, target at 1410.00, stop at 1390.00 (if target and stops are set).
and when closed.
ktrader is flat ES closing at target 1410.00 for 10 points profit. trade duration: 3m45s.
I am trying to figure out what would be reasonable to tweet when stops/targets are changed, keeping in mind some people move target and stops continuously, so I am trying to find a good balance between having an up-to-date twitter feed and overloading with messages.
Why don't you handle it similar to screenshots and let the user decide (via hotkey) when to tweet? This way people can find the right balance themselves. The other way would be to only tweet the entries and exits.
Sorry I'm late to the party, but is this still a work in progress? It sounds like a very slick idea.
As to the question of exit adjustments, even without manually moving stops/targets it would happen for trailing or other similarly dynamic exits. I like @vvhg's suggestion: let it either be user driven or automatically limited to entries/exits. You could even give the user the option to use the manual or auto method.

If the orders are not OCO, they are currently just posted when they are made. (like ktrader added a STOP in ES at 1356.75)
I have been working on do a complete position update for the instrument when any change is made - this ensures the latest twitter message contains the complete set of unfilled orders for the instrument - which is good when there are few order updates.
If I add a way for the user to tweet manually that would probably be the most useful.
But part of the reason for my original post, what good ideas to prevent message overflow, for instance when an automated strategy does many order updates.
For trailing orders (if made as a trailing order in sierra chart) I can tell from the order type its trailing and thus currently it doesnt do position update when the price moves, rather when the trailing stop is added the post would include. for instance "trailing stop: 5 ticks".
I will make the option of do it manually too, part of the reason for automatic is besides tweeting it, i am using the same logic to send to an external "position window" where i monitor all my sierra instances (even on different computers) so i have a single view of orders and positions.
