Cumulative Delta, Bid/Ask with Sierra Charting package?
Josh thanks a lot. My hopes are still alive because I really like the Cumulative Delta with bid/ask. I checked Sierra and found that they do not service CQG. May I ask what data provider you use, that would give me some type of direction that I can look into. Once again thanks for your help.
Thanks
Hector

"What happens currently, is that I open my chart and none of the historical information is back filled, only the forward real time information. I wanted to switch to Sierra Charting services and was wondering if anyone uses Sierra and if they are able to get the Cumulative Delta with the bid/ask. If so may I ask how you configuring your input and what services make up the configuration. It may not be possible but I thought someone here in the room may use Sierra."
I have been using Sierra Chart for years with DTN IQFeed and I love it. IQFeed have 120 days of historical bid/ask and the CD is working just fine, not to mention the support and update policy of Sierra Chart. Do yourself a favor and try them out. I'd gladly switch brokers if I had to any time of day
EDIT: forgot to mention that the product is very stable so don't expect to get the same number of crashes you get with IRT or MD - let alone the damaged databases because of those crashes.

I use CTS, also have used IQFeed which is your best bet for cheapest and overall best bang for your buck if bid/ask accuracy is important to you. If you have a Rithmic based broker then they are also very accurate and fast.
CTS data is about $1 more per round trip than 'free' broker feeds, but IQFeed is a flat monthly rate. Depending on your trading volume, this difference in rate structure could affect your bottom line.
I use Velocity Futures with TT feed, and the ES commission is $3.62 round trip. The TT data is fast and reliable for trade execution, but terrible for bid/ask studies. Combine it with IQFeed for data and you have a great combination.
It was asking Rithmic/Zenfire users to post whether they placed trades from Sierra Chart or from their broker's DOM.
Apparently SC was informed they would incur large fees since a supposed majority do not trade from Sierra, and SC is unable to verify this. Maybe they pulled it because of a misunderstanding.
