I just started to test SC and I cannot find how to get the correct time display on the bottom of the chart.
It is 4 hours off, and I cannot find a setting ?

I know its a stupid question, but it is bugging me.

Also, I cannot figure out how to work with strategies for automation.

thanks

shane

sierra chart is a very weird platform. the options are everywhere except where you think they would be. now that i'm used to it, I much prefer this platform for my style of trading tough, it is lean and stable.

go to global settings->data trade service settings, and adjust the time zone for where you live.

for automation, there is a study called "spreadsheet system for trading" put this on your chart and you can build simple strategy very easily using excel compatible instruction. if your needs are more complex, you'll need to code a dll in c++.
