I hope this question makes sense. I have a chartbook that I’ve spent a lot of time perfecting. Someone else shared a chartbook with me and I want to copy a single shaft from that chartbook to mine. The problem is, the chart has several study overlays from other charts and doesn’t copy over properly. Is there a way to get it to copy with the overlays? I wouldn’t be opposed to having both Chartbooks open, but I don’t want to have to switch back and forth for that one chart. Thanks for any help
Make a copy of current chartbook with different name
In this copy delete all the charts not associated with the chart you want to copy to your other chartbook
Save
Chart > duplicate all Charts to Chartbook
Move to you new Chartbook.
Minimize all charts that you do not want to show.
The overlays go with the Chart... it is the reference charts that are needed to make it work. One Chartbook does not talk to another Chartbook.
