Hello, I have developed a strategy in sierra spreadsheet for system for trading, I am trying to figure out how away to make it take only the first entry long and ignore the following entries until an entry in the opposite direction is triggered. Could some one point me in the direction of a solution. I am not a programmer but I was able to get the strategy working the way i would like except this part.

I don't really do SC SS stuff, but couldn't you modify your Buy Entry criteria to check if J5 > 0, which, if true, would indicate you are already in a Long position?

One way to do it is to create a persistent variable in a Formula Column. Here is an example:
