As @bobwest have mentioned above, Sierra's spreadsheets are something different than regular spreadsheets like Excel or Google Sheets. Looks like you might be referring to the latter.

Correct. The "spreadsheet" interface for Sierra Chart has nothing to do with the kinds of tasks that regular spreadsheets like Excel are for. The Excel type spreadsheet is for manipulating numbers and other data. They are useful, but have no resemblance to the "spreadsheets" in Sierra Chart, which give users a simplified way to create what Sierra calls studies (others would call them indicators and strategies) that execute in Sierra Chart without needing to be written in code.

The name "spreadsheet" in Sierra Chart is probably unfortunate because it can confuse people, but it is at least visually similar, so they probably thought it was a good analogy.
