I try to upload a picture for my profile picture; but everytime I click "Save changes", it gives me an error "upload of file failed" . Even a file size of 5K doesn't work. Not sure why?

Does your picture show after you browse to find the picture?
If so then your picture is in your profile.
Just posted a profile picture using JPG format, not sure if there is a file restriction, but my guess is that it is the same as for regular posts.

Hope this helps. I am sure Mike will weigh in on this one. ;-)
