Dell ultra sharp 38 curved

Had a look at one of these today and it was beautiful but with a price to match.

I know nothing tech wise...are they any good, any suggestions for something similar?

HD TV. Great quality and cheap. But, you have to run in HD resolution. You lose multi-monitor capabilities. Look for one with 4:4:4 Chroma and 60hz.
