This is my sextuplet setup.
Centres are NEC 2470WNX
Top left and right are Dell 2407
.
very nice... I am shooting for a similar config as well... but I moved away from six screens and went with 4 instead.. but vertical instead of horizontal. I would be using Sun Microsystems 24.1" LCD's @ 1920x1200... I like them, and I have them so not investing on new monitors this year... since I want to focus more on trading here is what I have in mind.. I have to order the tykes supply dual to make it happen..

Base OS is LinuxMint 9. VMware Workstation 7.14 runs XP, Windows 7, Fedora and other exotics.
Windows XP solely for
Ninjatrader alone. Metatrader 4 instances are ran from my VMware ESXi host. Accessed using RDP. Windows XP as well with 4GB RAM for the Live trading guest. Windows XP with 4GB in the Demo trading guest for testing Expert Advisors.
Nice setup. All the tech talk makes sense...but dual tape dispensers. That might be overkill.

This is my sextuplet setup.
Finally the Accell dongles came.
Do not buy any MiniDisplayPort to DVI except from ATI approved models. One of them is from Accell.
Only the Dell 2408 (bottom left and right) are DP capable. I bought the MiniDisplayPort to DP from
HDMI Cable, Home Theater Accessories, HDMI Products, Cables, Adapters, Video/Audio Switch, Networking, USB, Firewire, Printer Toner, and more! I tried their MDP to DVI. It failed.
I was left to buy the approved ATI dongles and they worked.
Hello All,
I am new here and have been lurking for awhile. I'm looking for an Accell Dual DVI to MP connector to connect a third 30in monitor to an ATI 5780 card.
LordAlfa, where did you find yours from? I don't trust the MonoPrice brand and the only "official Accell" ones I found were on Ebay going for approx $100.

Are the Sun LCDs IPS panels? Most 1920x1200 screens are IPS.

keeda,
ATI approved active dongles for MDP to DVI conversion. AMD Eyefinity Validated Dongles
For those using MiniDisplayPort.
The MiniDIsplayPort to DisplayPort cables from Monoprice are excellent and they do work very well.
