I am interested in setting up an alert any time I get an arrow from the SequenceCounter (aka generic DeMark) study in TOS

The standard TOS Alert Book does not support this indicator/study

I've been using TOS for several years but have not ventured into the custom script space.

Thanks, I appreciate anyone who can point me in the right direction!

It is very easy to do. Look at this pic

Code

declare upper;
def Data1 reference sequenceCounter(13,9)."Perfect Buy";
def Data2 reference sequenceCounter(13,9)."Perfect Sell";
def Data3 reference sequenceCounter(13,9)."Perfect Array Buy";
def Data4 reference sequenceCounter(13,9)."Perfect Array Sell";
Alert(data1,"Perfect Buy",alert.BAR,sound.Ding);
Alert(data2,"Perfect Sell",alert.BAR,sound.Ding);
Alert(data3,"Perfect Array Buy",alert.BAR,sound.Ding);
Alert(data4,"Perfect Array Sell",alert.BAR,sound.Ding);
Apply this study to your opened chart and it will show an alert window every time the criteria is met.

Works great! Thanks. I was hoping to get this applied to a watch list of 30+ stocks. This goes a long way.

reviving this a little

maybe can someone help me out with this?
where and how do I put this code in the thinkorswim?
I tried actually to define an alert and enter the code to trigger it. but it give me errors that the sequenceCounter is not recognized and the DATA1 to DATA2 as well.
so maybe I am doing it wrong ? or the code is old for the current version

anyone?
