First post on any forum ever!
I have been trading stock for a few years part time between jobs and school. Now that I have graduated and worked I have enough to start trading full time with a job in the afternoon for steady income while my trading profits go from negative to positive. Will mainly be trading the ES and follow a similar strategy to Pats price action. His free Youtube videos are a great resource I stumbled upon.

There's many people happy to answer any questions on the forum. The forum is mostly about futures but there's also sections available for other asset classes. I trust you'll find what you need to get started.
I've already found a thread very useful to me (How much capital to trade ES).
Can you please tell me if there is in the forum a thread where are gathered together all the helpful faq for a beginner? I refer to the basic informations such as "what is the daily settlement price", "Difference between globex data and no globex", "trading phases", "relationship between futures price and its underlying" etc. etc., i.d. the rules and characteristics of market and futures
Unfortunately If there is one, I haven't found it.

hey guys, new here. from the Sacramento area. I trade NQ and CL primarily at the moment. I'm also an FX trader. new here, looking to learn, share what I've picked up so far, and be around liked minded people. Nice to meet ya guys.
First off, a big thank you to Big Mike for the this fantastic resource.
I've been swing trading FX and CFD's for the past 18 months with mixed results. I have gradually come to I feel that intraday trading would be more suitable for my personality and would help to correct some of the issues that I have been having.
From my research into intraday trading, I came to the conclusion that futures would be a better product for this style of trading, therefore I've decided to restart my training from the beginning. This is what has led me to this forum.
I look forward to learning from the many great minds on here as I embark on my new journey.
I am located in Australia and initially plan to trade either FESX or FGBL for 3 hours in my evenings.
To other Aussies in here, which futures brokers and platforms do you use to trade?
