Hi guys i have a stupid Question how do i make a post myself i canīt find anywhere where i can do it.

Hi @Joe23,

It depends on what you want to do.

The forum is organized into broad categories called sub-forums (or sometimes referred to as just "forums.") Within the sub-forums there may be further divisions, and then you get down to "threads," which are simply groups of related posts.

You can go to the main page of nexusfi.com and see a list of the top-level "sub"-forums, or general categories. If you pick one to look at, you can click it and drill down to see what it contains. When you have gotten down to the list of the individual threads, you can click on any one of them and you will find yourself in the first post of that thread. (There may be several posts per page.) You can move to the end or to any page using the navigation buttons you see on each page. If you want to add a new post to that thread, you just have to click on the "Post Reply" button, and a new edit window will appear for your new post. Click "Submit Reply" when you're done.

Now, if you don't want to put your post in an existing thread, you can also create a new thread, which you will need to locate within an appropriate sub-forum, and then make your post there. To find out how to do that, as well as to get a good overview of the whole forum/sub-forum/thread structure, you can take a look at a guide by clicking here:

Let me know if this has answered your questions.

Hi everyone,

I am a complete new beginner to trading and in the process of learning about options and futures trading. I am currently undergoing training with Alphaoptions.com and digging my head into it. I would love if anyone can share there experience how they started and how long it took them to be confident and start trading with actual money. I have signed up with Thinkorswim and currently using their platform to practice what I learn in the training.
Thank you

Welcome. optionalpha.com is a great site. I really like them and it's amazing it's all free. I also am practicing with a paper money Think or Swim account. You're off to a great start.

Some of the better parts of this site you need to pay $100 buck-eroos to become an Elite member. I think it is very worth it :-)

Greetings!

I was born in 1961 and work as a software developer.
Looking to implement the holy grail system (really!) if I would ever find more time.
My tool is Tradesignal, which is OK as a package.
But I would prefer something with a "real programming language" behind it.

If my holy grail fails, I consider offering a paid service: You get to see what I am trading and you just do the exact OPPOSITE.
You will be guaranteed to have ONLY winners!

Thanks for having me here.
I'm a stockbroker based in Nigeria with more than 10 years experince trading the financiao markets. Keen areas of interest in forex and currency options.
My strategy relys on a good understanding of fundamentals, market sentiment, seasonality and technicals. I'm also an author on tradingview under the alias "dynamiquebd" where I post my trade ideas.

I believe I will get the opportunity to network with great minds in this forum

Thank you.

Happy fourth of July! I've been in the futures markets since the mid-90s. Retail, institutional etc. Back-office, front office, and mid-office. Then after 9/11 I found myself without a job and did some studying on proprietary trading as it has always been what I wanted to do - albeit with a hedge fund type set-up. I never had the connections to join or start a hedge fund so I used my own $$$. I traded pairs in the equities for a while with moderate success - meaning I did not blow up my account. Later I started executing (wouldn't really term it "trading") theta plays with some really great results. But I'm not in a position to risk my own funds so am considering working towards getting a funded account with TopStep - any input on them is welcome. So far they have been great to work with. Being flat at EOD is something very new to me and the adjustment has not been easy. I've just started a practice account and find I have one pretty good day, followed by a flat day, followed by a horrid day - get stopped out on every trade. Looking forward to hearing from futures traders and hearing any input. Good trading y'all!
