The session template does not depend on your time zone. The session template uses the timezone of the exchange. You can use one of the three session templates, which I posted above at your choice.

Which session template you use, entirely depends on your trading habits. If you want to trade the European session, it is likely that you want to use an opening range breakout indicator such as the noise bands. Then you will probably select the third template which has a separate session starting with the London open.

If you trade the US session only, then you can rely on the second session template above, which reproduces the exact RTH session times of 6E, as per contract specifications.

Fat,

I want to trade these two options;

1. Tokyo/London/New York sessions (if I'm awake to trade Tokyo)

2. London/New York sessions (this is my specialty)

I have created those templates with the session manager. You can only use them, if you first create them. Please always use the timezone of the exchange.

Once the session template is created you can select in the instrument manager of 6E. Then open all charts with instrument settings.

Thks and I understood, sorry still have that quest.

You have added 3 session in that default2 template,

1.00-7.20 (Monday)
7.20-1600 (Monday)
1700-100 (tuesday)

for euro, shouldn't we just have 1.00-7.20 (Monday) ?

The market opens at 5:00 PM Central Time (see CME Group website). So you start with the Asian session (Sunday 5:00 PM until Monday 1:00 PM, followed by the European and the US session.

Where is the problem? Do you want to cut off any data?
