Yes, that's the manual I was referring to. Actually I was looking forward to Martin's webinar because I had been disillusioned by cci in the past as I mentioned. Maybe that sentiment didn't come across in my post. Then you had controversy about Woodies as I'm sure anyone can easily find out on the net.
I was interested in his take on CCI, and I wasn't disappointed and greatly enjoyed the webinar and his solid clear rules on using CCI.
My previous site instructor on CCI was too flaky with rules about it. Sure we had the 100,200 etc. level CCI too, but just "fuzzy" setups and "instinctual" "discretionary" rules. Similar use of using trendlines on the oscillator itself, but Martin was much more clear about it.

LOL not wasting anytime, let us know what you think of the trial, would like to check it out if I had time, if not for futures but stocks on a daily time frame.
Some of you may be using the Adaptive_CCI that I shared some time ago on this forum. This version of the CCI is a simpler version and optimized a bit.

Obviously I didn't send my CCI_nexusfi.com (formerly BMT)Elite indicator through the Quality Control fellas before posting it. There was an error causing the colors to be set to 0,0,0,0 after reloading a saved chart. Got that fixed and reposted at

If my memory is right, the lose definition of classic CCI is - it measure the distance of price from the given simple moving average. So, if CCI length is set to 20 every time the price crosss the simple moving average of 20 the CCI will also cross the zero line. It is might be easier to to see the divergance, mean reversion, trend on CCI then simple moving average. Trading with CCI is a version of trading using moving average.
