Perry's Method Continuation and Advancement.. why?

So what's the big deal about "Perry's Method Continuation and Advancement"? After seeing how many followers he has and all the positive reviews I decided to watch the webinar. At the end I was dumbfounded. It just looks like the standard amateur MA crossover stuff I learned in first month "trading". The "rules" look basically arbitrary and he never really explains the why of what he's doing in a cohesive manner. The presenter fumbles quite a bit and seems to know little of market dynamics.

No disrespect to anyone here, I'm just trying to understand what I missed. I'm always looking for little golden nuggets, so if someone can point me in the right direction with this one I'd be very appreciative.

i feel you it seems that alot of these methods don't show losers or trades that people might have taken and
would have got faked out, all they show is winners and no answer to what is used for the discretionary part if there's any
but from what i found you have to add your own flavor to the dish. some use delta some use DOMs
some use volume ladders and some make rules where they look for a set up at points of interest, like value area high/low.
but it would be helpful if these methods explained their trades discretionary wise and showed losers and disclosed what their system brings to the table that helps in trading.

Do not create a thread on an existing subject to ask "why" please.

It will just create a split topic.

This new thread is to discuss the updated and advanced version of Perry's trading method. Hopefully this will be easier for everyone to find the new indicators and templates once Perry has time to post them.
