Is there anybody successfully trading futures during the Asian session (between 5PM and 10PM EST Mon-Fri)? if so, what futures contracts are best traded during that time and what strategies and/or timeframes?
Thank you.

I also noticed that 6E has some small, consistent trends during this time. For example, I noticed that there were some news that came out at 19:30 in Australia and 6A went down 30 ticks within 1 minute of the news.
Realistically, how would I have been able to capture any of this move? Would a bracket order above (stop buy order 1 tick above) and below (stop sell order 1 tick below) the recent trading range prior to the news have worked? Wouldn't the order fill incur a very significant slippage? I attached a file of the 1 min 6A chart around today's news.
I guess I like the slower, gradual moves but not super fast like crude oil during the European session. The reason I'm asking about the Asian session is that 5-10 pm EST would be the only time I'd have access to trade and I know that's the absolute slowest time to trade. Usually during this time there are a lot of pullbacks after moves that occurred earlier in the day and the market has more of a tendency to rest during this time. What I'm looking for is something that will have some consistent, small trends during this time of the day.
