Because I thought you were using CQG.


With CQG, you have a Symbol Search facility where you can look all those codes up. But Sierra Chart, I don't know.

Sierra makes finding instruments a tedious experience. No search facility just a long list of confusion to scroll through. CQG naming convention doesn't help either.

True but in that symbol search facility table you also have the universal name, so it's easy to see that, for example, EP = ES and CLE = CL

If you look for Cross-Rates like GBPJPY you can simply trade the 6B and 6J and go long short respectively.
Since both are pegged against the USA, you trade them against each other.
