Hi,

Im interested in trading the FGBL (German Bond). The Broker of my choice would be IB. As i read and heard they are reliable and reasonably priced. But being Beginner, i need your help.

I'm interested in the cost- plus price structure. https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=commission&p=futures2
So what are the total costs for trading 1 FGBL- Contract?
Am i'm right if it's: 0.90 EUR + 0.20 EUR per Halfturn, so total costs for f.e. buy and cover 1 FGBL- Contract is 2.20 EUR?

In the IB- Example CAC-40 is a clearing fee and transaction fee, i think I have to add these costs to my 2.20 EUR, right?

thanks for your help!

0,90+0,20+(0,01 regulatory fees) 1,11 EUR per side
plus look on cancel/modify fees for EUREX products

Also check margins, sometimes IB's margins are higher. Affects ability to trade depending on account size.

I know this post is 2 years ago, but perhaps this info is interesting for someone.

IB customer service told me, this modify / cancellation fee only applicable when using the API, not TWS.

There are no cancellation or modification fees when using the TWS. The example on their website is wrong.

Hiya @debux

Thanks. What about FX orders by NT8 to TWS over API? Does this apply to the connection between NT8 and IB-TWS? e.g. If I place FX order and modify by NT8 or cancel it, will it involve any cancellation or modification fees but not if I directly do it over IB-TWS?

Tnx and best of luck
