Kind of a vague question but are there any level 2 scalpers out there? Starting looking into trading spreads and was wondering if there were any scalpers doing the same? Hoping to get some feedback
I saw this post earlier...and its lack of any response whatsoever. I thought about it and had to come back. The reason there is no response (I think) is because you don't understand what you're saying.
Define what you mean by "trading spreads". When I read it, I thought calendar spreads which is definitely not what you're talking about.
If by "spread" you mean the difference between the bid and ask (one tick on typical contracts), the answer is no. Retail traders, professional or not, do not generally survive trying to scalp the difference between the bid and ask. There are mechanical reasons for this; it has nothing to do with talent or knowledge. But also most retail traders, professional or not, are psychologically incapable of this anyway.
On the other hand, if by "level 2 scalpers" you mean straight up DOM trading without any charts, check out everyone who uses Jigsaw. There are various sources of info on this.
Bottom line, one of two things is true: either the answer to your question is no or you're question makes no sense. Please define the terms you use.
