try catch in easy language

I'm new in easy language.. (Comes from C#)
I used the function "FileDelete"
How do I know if the file is actually deleted, or catch the error?

avivi,

as far as I know there is no direct way to know if the file deletion was successful. You can use a function from ELC to check if the file exists and then delete or not delete it (ELC.PathExists).

you need to install the function and DLL. You can obtain the installer from the official forum.

It works fine for me, besides that I haven't seen the installer somewhere else as it's an official product from Tradestation.
