Hi,

So I am about to start topstep trader combine and chosen tradestation as my platform for reasons to get use to it as I intend on opening a brokerage account with them in the future.

I am used to tradovate so tradestation a little more advance.

What I would like to know:

I intend to trade 2 contract at a time. I usually use bracket orders with two different profit targets and 1 stop order. I also use break even: when 1st profit target is reached, remaining contract moves to break even.

I like trading from the doms / matrix.

How to I set a bracket order with break even described above in tradestation? For when selling or buying. Basically similar to what I used in tradovate demo, see picture.

Thanks so much

Prokkie

On chart trader you would manage through an OSO with 2L and 1S. So an entry order sends 2 limit orders and 1 stop order when it sends. I don't think tradestation has native trailing stop functionality. You would need an ATM for that. I would suggest the Breakeven stop strategy included in the easylanguage category. I would suggest playing around with setting and trailing stop code in sim to make sure its working right for you.

Hi ShadowFox,

Thanks for your help. The picture I posted is from tradovate, had a sim account there. Made reference to it as I am trying to get a similar setup in tradestation.

I am using desktop version of tradestation. What I basically want is:

2 buy orders at different prices, 2 stop orders at the same price. When one profit target is reached, the remaining stop order moves automatically to break even. I either cant find an easy way to setup this up or tradestation doesn't have?

Thanks

Prokkie
