Catching Big Waves - a trader's journal of surfing the the markets
Minor W5 target of 83.75ish hit close enough. Now might short, but ES is frisky, local DB still glaring on CL.
4 ticks shy of double "goal" for the day, obtained by trading correctly, not by beating my chest saying I am trader hear me roar today, and I may move on until tomorrow.
Yesterday, big money, shitty trading. Did not follow anything resembling a plan, ignored the obvious, thought I was George Soros on position sizing...
I get more upset with myself on winning trades than losing, far more.
But today I felt I could not have traded better for my beliefs and plan. I saw the intermediate DB, decided I was a buyer, saw a possible minor W4 complete, saw ES target the highs, waited for the push higher instead of grabbing the bottom of the channel, took my trade and allowed it to hit, read volume at the flag correctly. I get a gold star today.
And that is all the more reason I may walk. I am now "indestructible", and CL loves to see me get there...
