It apears just to be a very recent copy of parts of TST's website and many of their Combine rules, but with none of their track-record, bona fides or reputation.
I confess I find it pretty hard to understand why anyone would choose this in preference to TopStep, but wishing the OP well with it, and maybe we'll all learn something interesting, here.
Got hit by tomatoes and other **** for the past two trading days....
Bled a lot on Day 4 and 5....
Yet... managed to survive... Survival is the key... Isn't it...!?!?!?! :P
There were so many things going wrong around me... and trading just became a part of it.... may be I'm blaming others for my mistake... but...
There's always influence of surroundings on us... it would be half truth to ignore them and just blindly believe in ''positive-thinking''.... and keep making mistakes... ignoring the causes
I'm kind of hard on myself sometimes... but I feel it is not 'absolutely' necessary ... May be.. just let 'time' heal my wounds...
I keep things simple and only use Chart Window and DOM.
Here are the screenshots of how they look (Chart Window). There is an option to trade directly from the chart...(just like ninjatrader)
Other features (that I could find in my limited exposure to ATAS) mentioned in brief :
Ability to trade from DOM and Chart. OCO and ATM Type strategy setup (like ninjatrader)
Single click trading (from charts)
Queue number of limit orders (My favourite . Previously when I used to trade on Ninja, I felt it would be better to see this.. but ATAS has it! in built!!) Although it does not make a huge difference for me as I'm not a scalper, but I like to see where I am in the 'Q'
There are many templates of DOM and Charts that one can choose from... This is how I use ATAS...
I came to know that funded traders do not have to pay monthly fee for data and for platform... So, essentially... just need to pass the test somehow and no more fees after that except commissions... that's my understanding...
Last week I thought that I hit the daily loss limit... and failed the test... So, I was talking about this with the Support of Proptrader's and decided to take 50k test...
But I was told that I did not fail the test... So, I went back and re-read the rules...
"Do not hit or exceed the Daily limit unrealized P&L". What this means is... on any single trade, my loss cannot touch $500. Actually, I never risked that much per trade...
So, what happened was... my ''realized pnl'' hit(actually exceeded) 500 and this made me think that it was all over... After the chat with Support, it became clear... There's more action coming up lol....
Not just that, I was told about a very important feature of their company... After failing a test, there will be2 more FREE opportunities to pass the test and still get funded... This is clearly mentioned in their rules... The only downside to this is... the initial capital after getting funded will be reduced by 30%.. But I dont think that is a big thing as long as I can put a 2 lot....
I came to know that Topsteptrader will only give one chance.... hit or miss... but proptrader's is giving two more extra opportunities to pass the test without having to pay again..
Apart from that... There are no monthly data fee for live traders. No monthly platform fees... So, that is a BIIIIG + for this company in my opinion...
Competition is always good especially for individual traders
most important thing.... I'M BACK FROM GRAVE!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER SAY NEVER!!!!!!!!
I had to start a fresh attempt after hitting max draw down in the initial test... Now, the next step is to utilize the next 2 free attempts... So, I will be posting details of first attempt...
Two days have passed. PnL for the two days are as follows...
