Entered one trade this afternoon. I didn't plan on trading but the momentum to the downside made me think I could make some money. Entered short and the market danced around my break even for 10 minutes then the market break new lows. I could have won some more ticks but was happy with what I got.

3 trades were counter trend, long on a big down day in oil. Trades 1, 2, and 4 went into a 20-35 tick profit and I moved my stop to a breakeven. All three trades came back and stopped out at break even. Trade 2 I read the orderbook wrong and the market just went against me straight away. Had the will power to exit with a 21 tick loss, so that was good. Obviously looking back at today it is easy to say just get short and hold, but that is easier said than done.

Summary: Traded decent for micro oil. Traded okay for mes. Micro oil, I want to edge down on my losses so take those losses quicker and maybe instead of a 30 tick loss i can edge it down to a 10-15 tick loss. Trades for the mes, I executed well and closed losses really quick so that was good. All day just didnt have any follow through for any of my trades.
Pretty much all of my trades today were stopped out.
