Anybody in here with experience of Neowave or Neely River Technology? I searched the forums and surprised that there is no post on Glenn Neely or his methods.
Thanks.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Glen Neely wrote a very facinating and educated book called "Mastering Elliot Wave". An excellent book which basically include his whole methodology. ISBN 0-930233-44-1
Cheers Perry. His Neely River Technology is something beyond his own improvement on EW which he calls Neowave. I like the logic but there is nothing much about it on the web other than his 3 recorded interviews on his site. Hope there are other traders in BM who have had some experience with it.
Read his book from cover to cover many years ago, both mind-blowing and forgettable due to the complexity. Best 3 things that I think I can remember are that markets are made of many more corrections than impulses, zigzag corrections channel far better than impulses and 'B' wave corrections really should take a significant amount of time/price. I've forgotten the other 954 rules. The book sits on the shelves with my other 100's, they all look pretty up there..
I subscribed to several of the Neowave services for long periods but haven't done so for many years, that's true for all the ones I've tried though. His published 'Top 5/10 Timer rankings' always seem to be pretty impressive but his technology is certainly his own. 'River' in particular is definitely kept close to the chest (except that a new trend really should start with a strong move, although that might have been part of the earlier work too.) His wave constructions are certainly on another planet - so if you want to see alien species in action I'd recommend giving it a go, I enjoyed the journey.
I had subscribed to his trial and it is interesting. More fascinating for me is that there are not many in our forums who have even been exposed to Glenn and his methods! And as you say his NRT is held very close to his chest. Either there arent many people following his methods or there are quite few but keep it all under wraps.
And on the books I can empathise with you..I too have quite a few on the shelf and as you say they do look pretty!!
