You are familiar with my dpLRL (Linear Regression Line) and that's the line in the picture. I wanted to something to tell me what a different period linear regression line was doing, so I decided to create some 'wallpaper' (the background) to show me. In the picture, the LRL is a smoothed 34 period. The wallpaper is a 21 period. When both are in agreement, you can see the results for yourselves. Add any other indicators that you think will help, and you have your set-up. Simple yet effective. Try it out and see if it helps. As always, leave a comment if you like it or hate it. Either way, they help the next version be better.
Don't you always want to know what the entire market is doing just before you enter a trade? I know I do.
This is my dpMIPSAR, Multi Instrument PSAR. It takes the four main markets, ES, YM, NQ, and RTY (or others that you can add), and puts a PSAR on each of them. When price is on the same side of the PSAR on all the instruments, the background is painted an appropriate color. If there is disagreement, no color paints, as you can see by the black zones. You can select 75% agreement which will provide more signals. It's up to you how to use it, but just about any chart indicator is made better since you now know what everybody is doing. It works best on minute and H-A bars since they all are in sync with each other. Tick bars don't work so well as 500 ticks on the YM will never be in sync with 500 ticks on the ES. Try it out and tell me what you think. It shouldn't hang your platform, but it might if you use something other than time-based bars. And only load 5 days of data or less.
Good luck and let me know if there are any problems.

Let me be honest here, somebody else built the 'Day' part of this and I just added the date. It just makes finding something on the chart much quicker. I think you'll see after a while, you'll never want to be without it.

PS. To the many folks who have asked about the dpBSV, the dpVolXray is the latest version of the BuySellVolume. If you really want to try the BSV, shoot me a note.
So no, this isn't the dpTurnerClassicMovies indicator! It's my dpTCM, Triple Channel Median indicator. I took the the Bollinger, Keltner, and Donchian midline/medians and averaged them into a new line. I then added my usual bells and whistles to make it more in-your-face intuitive. The picture shows my dpDPOT being used along with it. The upper and lower lines are a 1 ATR band, which is adjustable. You can fiddle with all sorts of moving averages and approximate this line, but I've done the work for you and there's a bit of real reasoning behind it. The thick median identifies the trend, the ATR boundary shows price extension and contraction, and the dpDPOT's yellow bar outlines show the ADX strength increasing while money-flow is increasing. The horizontal lines at the midline direction changeover are my validation lines which show if the changeover is being respected. The final piece of this sysem is my dpBSV (BuySellVolume) which clearly shows who is in control. Pay attention to the outline of the bar and who is on-top in the BSV. The un-outlined bars are just as important as the outlined ones as they show where strength has vanished, as during a pullback. Be prepared for return-to-trend action. Just like the current cell phone commercial and the very old Nissan commercial, I'm trying to provide everything you need, nothing you don't.
As always, please feel free to leave glowing reviews or scathing criticism. No ego here, just sharing what I find useful.
Best,
Dave P

- Shows buy and sell volume with total volume outline
- Relative volume borders — Border thickness indicates volume significance (normal/medium/thick based on standard deviations)
- Total volume color modes — Border color can be fixed, match candle direction, or match delta direction
- Delta divergence marker — Plots "D" above candles when delta diverges from price (green candle + negative delta, or red candle + positive delta)
- Reversal dots — Green dot below candle when negative delta + price rose; red dot above candle when positive delta + price fell
- Text overlays — Optional display of buy/sell numbers, delta value, and delta percentage above bars
- Configurable — Adjustable colors, spacing, thresholds, and display options

Here's my modified Chaikin Money Flow. I added some line coloring, smoothing , and signaling abilities. Looking at my screenshot, take a minute and really look at what it's telling us. When it is slope-up and above the zero line, you want to be looking at your other indicators to see if it's leading or lagging. In each case it's telling you something. Look atthe large rectangle in the screenshot. Volume triggered the first signal. Above it, the dpChaikinMF was inclining. but below the zero line. Above it, the dpDPOT (Detrended Price Oscillator with Twiggs component) has triggered a signal. Above that, the dpDPO, a tad more 'reserved' than the DPOT, has also triggered. And we finally see the dpMAMA show a signal. Volume, moneyflow, trend analysis, and price action are all in agreement. Looks like a simple set-up, right? Add whatever indicators you currently use (if any) and see if this version of the Chaikin Money Flow is a benefit. As I always say, if you don't find it helpful, get it off your chart. No ego here! Please leave feedback if you think of any ways to improve it. Thanks. Dave P.

January 3rd, 2026 06:52 AM sasaforfriends Thanks Dave for your sharing.
I'm interested to try it with your other indicators, such as VolXRay, DPOT and other seen in your other posts.
Is it possible to get them? I'm new here, I tried to search for them, but I've been unable to find any of them...
