dpMAMA NT8 11-4-2025

Here is my modified version of the Ehler's MAMA. I added some colorization, a smoother, and a novel (at least in my mind) signal mechanism. The MAMA does a great job of keeping price on one side of the lines. I noticed that when price closes above a down-sloping MAMA or when price closes below an up-sloping one, there is a very good chance a pullback or reversal is closing in. Hey, I didn't invent the cure for cancer, I just made this a wee bit more useful. No harm , no foul if you try it out and then delete it. But test it out and see if it doesn't add a bit of 'early warning' to your other indicators. As always, let me know what you think of it.

An advanced volume analysis indicator that identifies and visualizes significant volume events on your chart using dynamic or static thresholds. The indicator processes tick-by-tick data to detect unusual volume activity and displays it as colored circles or ellipses directly on the price chart.

Main Settings:

Threshold Method: Static (fixed value) or Dynamic (multiple of average volume)
Volume Multiplier: Sets how many times the average volume triggers an event (Dynamic mode)
Shape Style: Circle (perfect round) or Ellipse (oval with customizable height)
Circle Scaling: Radius, scaling factor, and maximum size limits
Colors: Separate colors for buying vs selling volume events
Historical Processing: Days to process and enable/disable historical analysis

Imbalances are now detected right after bar close, they initially were visible only after indicator reload.

Added dynamic opacity option (default) - delta around 50, circle is empty, high delta more opacity.
You can filter out small volume orders with size filter, only bigger trades are taken into consideration. You may need to reduce the multiplier in dynamic mode to show more circles.
Added option to display absoprtion - High delta, price doesn'nt follow in timeout (30s), plot letter A for absoprtion.
Bug fixes

Version 1.51

Fixed bug with Absorption timeout, now it plots the A for absorption only after the timeout set in settings is elapsed - works in live mode only.

Added the option to show 3 configurable order block sizes beside candlesticks, now you can spot big buy or sell orders without the need to check T&S.

Added the option to show delta map/bars, enabled by default, set threshold in settings.

Overview
AdvancedVolumeProfile is a volume profile indicator for NinjaTrader 8 that provides both time-based volume profiles and FRVP. It displays volume distribution across price levels, helping traders identify high-volume nodes (HVNs), low-volume nodes (LVNs), Point of Control (POC), and Value Areas - critical reference points for understanding market structure and making informed trading decisions.

Key Features

Time-Based Profiles: Daily, hourly, minute and range-based Profiles
Fixed Range Volume Profiles (FRVP): Press 'V' key on the chart to start selection mode, resize by dragging handles (if enabled), close individual profile by clicking the X button in top-right corner or pressing C and selecting, clear all profiles: Press 'Shift+C'
Visible Range Volume Profile
Delta Profile (use tick data must be enabled in indicator settings)
Ability to show POC/VAH/VAL of previous RTHs, days and weeks

Advanced Volume Analysis

dpStochMaster NT8 9-2-2025

I always wanted a better way to visualize what the stochastic indicator was telling me, so I built it myself. As you can see in the screenshot, the StochMaster generates an ActionZone seen as the red and green rectangles. Since nobody knows what price will do as it exits the Zone in either direction, I color-coded the upper and lower regions. Watch how price respects the median line of the Zone. It's quite impressive, right? Then, let your eye extend the Zone (as in the upper left where two high Zones have formed), and you'll notice that Zones have staying power and are areas to be respected later on. The green and red dots are where price left the overbought or oversold regions in the subpanel. As usual, everything is adjustable in the Properties. There is also an RSI component to help filter the signals. The 'Flatness' property is used to describe the slope of the RSI. When the RSI is flat, StochMaster signals are reduced. The value can range range from .1 to 100, but I usually keep it set at 3. Experiment with it and find out what setting works best with each instrument and period.

The chart also has my dpDPO on it. The ADX component of it is the thick black border of some of the candles. It tells you where strength is.

This is the latest iteration of my NinjaTrader 8 Bar Timer Indicator.

IMPERATIVE - REMOVE ANY PRIOR VERSIONS BEFORE INSTALLING.

v10. Some minor bug fixes and tweaks.(thanks to Aligator for pointing one out)

Indicator will now automatically change Calculation mode if you choose Volume or Tick Charts to Calculate.OnEachTick.

This version adds 6 things

1. Amended the price Marker formatting so that it now flashes like everything else and lines up correctly.
2. The Flash and Sound Alert features have been upgraded significantly - with the use of Gradient Colors especially.
3. The addition of an Outline to the text which now adds another type of Alert Flashing
4. Changed the key code to move the indicator around the chart to the Right control key ONLY.
5. User can now see the price in the price marker if they select Counter only as the BarTimer
6. Added Settings confirmation message ( which can be toggled off)

Known issues
1. Will occasionally fail/give weird output if your computer clock gets out of sync ( about twice a year in my case) - please google how to sort this it's very simple.URL link is in the notes at the top of the code to fix this
2. Can run on BarClose BUT needs firsttickofbar to compute. If you use the Tick Or Volume counter it must run on each Tick , obviously!

Changes are
1. Tick,Volume,Time and Range based charts are now all catered for.
2. Can look at counter/timer as a numeric value or a % of time left/remaining.
3. User no longer needs to specify what kind of chart it is - code automatically picks it up
4. Can display a Clock in a different time zone to that of the user eg Eastern Standard Time in New York
5. Alert near the beginning of a new bar via sound or various "flashing" objects such as the whole panel.
6. User may rotate the indicator to 8 different points on the chart panel via a key combo.

Anchored VWAP NT8

Here is an Anchored VWAP for NT8

I modified the Midas Indicator.
You will need to set manually:
Start Date (Current date or anchor date)
Start Time (Start time of the anchor)
AISRColor / Trend Selector
Selections are:

VWAP(default) which plots the VWAP from the midpoint of the candle.
Support (Plots the VWAP from the Low of the candle.
Resistance (Plots the VWAP from the High of the candle

The VWAP colors plot above/below price as the price moves across.
(The colors can be changed by the user)
Outer bands can be plotted but the default is transparent.

Even though the default settings are okay, you could choose the best settings for this indicator by back testing. Happy Trading!

V_HLC_Bar type_1.3

This is a High/Low/Close Bar type ...with added features like ability to show hidden gaps etc.... very useful as the wicks graphically do not bleed over their actual price. a problem when using ninjas native HLC bars or OHLC bars is graphical bleed which can be many tics/points over the actual price it traded...so this solves that issue to what you see is the actual High and Low.

Just go under Bar types and at bottom you should see a bar type called V_HLC import it ... close down ninjatrader and restart... this is technically a chart style if you need to find it to modify the code to your liking.

7-1-25___ 1.3 added ability to turn on candlesticks and the bar body midpoint. can't seem to upload the fixes...so here is a thread with the updates to 1.3
