Nested Fractals

Fractals are a common bar pattern, created in a consecutive 3-bar series, where the bar in the middle is higher than the two on either side. This creates a fractal high.

In this indicator, that is created by what I have labeled as "Level 1." (see properties section in image).

This indicator also creates FRACTALS OF FRACTALS. So that means, if a Level 1 fractal exists, and has a LOWER Level 1 fractal on both sides of it, it creates a Level 2 fractal high.

This is done up to Level 5, and creates a series of swing points.

The indicator can display dots or numbers.

The parameter labeled "show triggers" shows an arrow with the corresponding color, WHERE on the chart the most recent fractal swing was actually confirmed. I.e., a Level 1 fractal high is confirmed at the END of the third bar.

The marker offset simply raises the marker text higher or lower above the bar.

I dunno what use this has, but is one of the experiments I have laying around, so thought I'd post it?

NOTE: Installing this indicator will create a folder called "BTMM," that's where the indicator will be.

Intelligent ZigZag for Minute/tic/Range/Vol Charts NT

There are many ZZs in existence.

This one starts at the beginning of each session and plots through the session. It includes a small bit of 'intelligence' in that it is made specifically to deal with ambiguous situations when a bar spans across the length of your desired ZigZag. In this case some ZZs don't know wether to plot an Up or Down move. This ZZ figures most of those situations out correctly. Although there are times it can be wrong if the desired ZZ is set too small for the volatility of the instrument.

Included are "real time" options so that the latest developing swing will plot Live, once it has reached the based threshold set by the user.

This will plot both the Swings INtraday, as well as the Daily Swing or Main Move. All of which can be toggled on off.

The ShowPreswings option when set to true, will plot swings that occur BEFORE the minimum ZZ length has occurred. An arrow will plot once that minimum swing length has occurred.

Many customizable options included with this, to include full customization of all of the lines, colors and widths, distance the labels and lines appear from the highs/lows etc.

This Indicator displays the swing information at cursor position, useful for quickly gauging the current swing duration and distance in ticks within the Toolbar with options to customize including:

- Font Color
- Font Select
- Show Swing Information Label
- Hide Indicator Name

I'm self taught and just starting to understand what's required to convert my NT7 indicators over to NT8 so let me know if this can be improved.

SwingGap

This is a simple modification of NT's Swing indicator. This ind. does Not fill in the bars between the bar of the High/Low point and the bar on which it was detected (as specified by the Strength input). The purpose is so you can quickly see which bar the Hi/Lo point was detected on(signal was given).

This is useful to quickly show how large the pullback was from top to bottom.
