NinjaTrader disconnecting at 6:30 AM EST every day
I leave my PC on 24x7 connected to Kinetic. Each day at 6:30-ish everything on Ninja stops - time & sales, DOM, charts all stop updating. The control centre shows Kinetick is connected.
Here are the messages I get.

I emailed Ninja Support today and within 8 minutes of emailing them I had a reply which said "Unfortunately I cannot determine what is causing the disconnection on your end"
Now - I have no idea why I'd even be connected to a NinjaTrader historical market data server but I am amazed they answered in 8 minutes.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I have this happen every day. Kinetic told me that is how thier feed works. It shuts down at predetermined periods of time. I will try to find the email they sent me and copy it to you for the actual specifics of their explanation which made no sense to me at all.

It appears as though it is 6:30 EST. I know every day when I sit down at my computer, I have to disconnect and reconnect to the data feed before I start work. I checked it the first couple of times it happened and it was always around that time although I noticed it happened a couple of times around 10:30PM EST.....I don't think it is random but at this point, I cant seem to find the email they sent me with the explantation. I use gmail so it should be simple search but nothing turned up.

Are you sure it's not your computer disconnecting from the internet at that time everyday? Check the event viewer to see whether that's the case. Does your computer use DHCP? If it does, in some cases, it renews IP address every day at the same time. This may potentially kill the Ninja connection.
I was in two different trading rooms in the past where the moderators experienced similar problems with different software (Ensign and Market Delta). The problem was fixed after changing to using static IP address.
Does your computer use DHCP? If it does, check when was the last time it renewed it's IP address and how long is the lease period (it depends on your router setting)? Anyway, use static IP might help.
