Sure, you can put your own software there instead of the broker connection. NinjaTrader tells people that is not possible, but that is - like many things - more a matter of not thinking in their little box.
There are 2 brokers in Ninja that have well published network protocols, do you can write your own server to handle everything, then use Ninja to connect to your server.
