I'm platform agnostic, I am proficient in many Linux variants, BSD unix and Windows Server among others. When I retired my data center I had uptime on at least one Windows host that was three years...

Hello,

Just putting this out there in case anyone else has this issue. I slowed the chart refresh rate down, and left the Jigsaw tool at the usual fast speed. I only look at the order flow so the chart doesn't need to be updated frequently anyways. You can change the chart refresh rate by right click, properties, and the rate is towards the bottom of the options.

@NinjaTrader,

Hi Ray,

I have an issue with Custom Fib Templates that could be a potential bug in the latest NinjaTrader 64bit.

I have a list of custom Fib templates that were generated with and used to work nicely with the NinjaTrader 32 bit and ZenFire (for unknown reasons I could not run the 64 bit with Zenfire - but that is in the past).

After switching to Rithmic, I am able to use the NinjaTrader 64bit version. However, while the fib templates' names are still listed in the Ninja drop down window, when drawn they will draw the default setting. If I switch to 32bit Ninjatrader then all templates work fine.

Is this a local issue or a Ninjatrader 64bit version bug. If so, then is it possible that some custom templates written under a 32bit Ninja may not function under 64 bit Ninja.

As a side note: Currently if one saves a custom Fib template as part of a chart template, with any change to the chart the Fib template will revert back to the default template. It would be nice if custom Fib templates saved as part of a chart template will not revert back to default template when chart is modified(i.e. changing instrument).

Cheers!

Slowdowns can be pc based (e.g., memory/cpu) and software (your trading software set-up/other software on your machine), and also could be vendor (e.g. data provider/broker).

Unfortunately for us in this business a lot of stuff can go wrong, I spend half my time trading and the other half making sure my I.T. doesn't blow me up :-)

Hi,

I am personally unaware of such as an issue...not saying that it does not exist. I will forward this thread along to my support team for further investigation.
