Hello
I was wondering if anybody knows if it is possible as well as "how to" use code outside of NinjaTrader platform to access NinjaTrader data as well as order information from your own NinjaTrader Brokerage account?
Sometimes I think about building an outside application other than Ninja and was just wondering if it is possible.
So to reiterate, provided somebody has a NinjaTrader Brokerage account and therefore has live data as well as order information like Account Value as well as execution orders like EnterLong and EnterShort, ExitLong, ExitShort.
Just wondering if it is possible to gain access to a library that can be executed by an outside language and outside application (outside of NinjaTrader) that can then do all of this.
thanks
Spencer

Hey thanks
yeah I remembered seeing this page, but not being able to get it to work. Have you ever gotten it to work in any project?
So it seems like this was created mostly if people want to use it through Tradestation or another platform
Just wondering if I created an order entry interface GUI of my own in VS if I would need to have NinjaTrader running in the background and if not, then would I need to do some syncing of some sort in my program.
I have a trading robot that generates orders and talks to NT using the ATI interface.
NT takes the order and sends it to the broker for execution.
I case of emergency i can change the order in NT chart trader
