I was watching the price of oil futures today around 9:07 am and noticed prices started trading up rapidly. Price went from from 43.60 to 44.45 in less than 5 minutes. I looked at the news feed on my television to confirm this and price was still trading at 43.60-63. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered a problem such as this on NT8 sim data?

The pic is not the clearest - probably you're better off by saving a screenshot of NinjaTrader by right-clicking on the chart and then posting it here.

Also, what do you mean by "sim data", what provider are you using?

Do you have a screenshot of CL when you experienced this phenomenon?

I have the screenshots I took of the ES when it happened the second time this afternoon. I took a photo with my cellphone.

I didn't know how to take a screenshot directly from the the platform, but now that I know I will do that next time it happens. You can see clearly enough in the photo that price was far out of the ordinary.

Once I shut down and re opened the software it was gone as expected.

But it's happened twice in one day on two separate contracts so I doubt this is the last time it will occur.

Then maybe you need to speak to TST - personally I have not experienced any of those anomalous spikes with my NT8.
