Is your Ninjatrader up and running on the same machine ?

Did you enable the ATI in Ninjatrader ?
>> What does this mean? How should I enable it? I have downloaded the Ninja Trader 8 and I have got the demo username and password to connect to futures. I have added those connection details in control center and got connected with the new connection.
Did you leave the settings as standard (port number)
>> I have not changed anything anywhere
Did you allow the port to be accessed in your local firewall ?
>> I have created a Inbound Rule and added the port 36973. Is that all I have to do?
The way that the ATI interface is working "under the hood", is that the DLL you added to your
project, will open a TCP/IP socket communication to NinjaTrader.
You need to enable NinjaTrader to 'listen' on the incomcing port, this is done by wiking the ATI
under the file menu :
By default this is 'off'.
The default port is 36973,
