Premise: I use demo version of ninjatrader for now.
My question is: in my case "Market replay" is only available for front month contract e.g. Es12-19?
I notice that after rollover I cannot run anymore the replay of Es09-12. I downloaded all the july data that effectively are present on ninja but when I run market replay it doesn't display anything.
Can I solve this problem opening an account with ninjatrader (for now I won't buy the platform cause I'm still very distant from live trading).
Thank you very much

From a post in the link above:"You would download/record the market replay data then playback the data. When the contract switches, you would also switch your charts (or whatever window you're using to view the data). Playback data is maintained on our server for 90 days, so you would be limited by that unless you had another source for older replay data or were using historical tick data for playback".
Yes, that's the way it works. But all futures trading platforms work the same way with live data, i.e. in futures trading contracts expire, so when rollover takes place you typically switch contracts. That's true also of replay data.
