Best of the Best Order Flow Analysis add-on for Ninjatrader 8 x64(and for Motivewave)
Nowadays pretty much all the delta Footprint tools appear to offer the same set of features. Pretty sure all will get the job done (whatever the Job is). Highlighting - imbalances, unfinished auctions and clusters is important imho. Most have that now.
Dom Surface tools / Heatmaps whatever you call them are a newer breed and some implementations have not caught up to what appears to be the first and “best” bookmap. Again there is nothing particularly difficult (apart from handling a lot of data efficiently) as it’s a very visual tool configuring it to look “nice” or at least adequate might be important to you.
After many years and many (failed) attempts to integrate delta footprints into my trading I wonder it’s real use. In theory great but you need to process a lot of analytical info when you should be focusing on execution. Analysing at execution time is difficult for most and I’d suggest you get that down before integrating anything else. I am interested in trying a DOM surface tool and see if that goes better as it’s much more visual/spatial something I’m better at. Personally looking for a relatively inexpensive tool that gets the job done rather than “the best”.
FX is going to be difficult/impossible. Even with connection to proper institutional liquidity trades are not reported. Sure you can see the order book but charting software assumes a change in best bid ask is a trade. No good for order flow analytics. Actually that’s not strictly true, LMAX does offer trade data at $20,000 a month (though obviously that’s just through their platform) too rich for my blood.
Analyse futures execute in Spot is always an option.
Sure, thanks. If I go to analyze the Futures currencies e.g. 6E? I need to know what broker's data feed and what private data provider's data feeds for Volume and Order Flow analysis on the Futures currencies are correct?
1- What broker's that offer Future's currencies data feeds contain the Hidden orders data, Order's Heatmap's data, Institutional large orders data, Icebergs data, Spoof orders data, Large placed orders by large, reputable, and accountable hedge funds data, etc?
2- What private data provider's data feeds contain the Hidden orders data, Order's Heatmap's data, Institutional large orders data, Icebergs data, Spoof orders data, Large placed orders by large, reputable, and accountable hedge funds data, etc?
Below is the Motivewave Ultimate vs Bookmap, I didn't create these charts thus I don't know how the Motivewave Ultimate chart on the left is created or what data feeds are required, or what brokers data or both to create it. Whatever I do the Order Heatmap output and large orders positions on the charts and red and green orders/positions circles do not appear on my charts?
Thanks. I'm interested in Bookmap and Jigsaw lifetime license as well as OFA company's tools. I'm looking for anything better if exist as the most accurate and best of the best tool as well.
Per my understanding Jigsaw has the better DOM and its full lifetime license is 2299USD.
I do have Motivewave Ultimate, Multicharts 14+ASP, and Ninjatrader 8 x64. I only need something that adds to my current Technical Analysis for the Order Flow and Volume's most accurate analysis.
Per my research, Bookmap Global lifetime license is 990USD and Bookmap Global Plus's lifetime license is 1990USD. I check the specifications and besides 'LLT, Strength Level, Imbalance' I don't see much difference between the two versions. Will these three items be worth 1000USD extra as they are highly valuable Technical Analysis tools that they worth that much or not? I'm happy to pay for quality and most accurate tools if they are worth the money, but I couldn't decide between Bookmap Global Plus and Bookmap Global license as the price gap is 1000USD for just 'LLT, Strength Level, Imbalance' is the difference per my understanding as of today?
I like Jigsaw DOM but I don't know if it's worth purchasing a 2299USD license just for DOM? As there are some add-on for Bookmap that adding extra options to the Bookmap DOM and making it more like Jigsaw DOM, but I'm not sure if they are accurate and work without any errors and bugs or not?
The Bookmap MBO bundle that works on Rithmic or DX does not have any lifetime license fee, it costs between 178USD/m to 134USD/m ongoing fee over the price of the lifetime Bookmap Global or Global Plus license, and I don't know if there is a solution to get a lifetime license for this or not?
There is the possibility that other tools exist that may work on par with these. I couldn't conclude yet.
?
If you are a Bookmap Global or Global Plus user, would you be able to advise me if Bookmap Global Plus in terms of Technical Analysis only has these 'LLT, Strength Level, Imbalance' over the Bookmap Global or there are some significant points that I'm missing?
I don't need live trading events that are offered by Bookmap Global Plus and I have never been in any of them yet either?
First at all, Jigsaw lifetime costs $ 579.-- and not $ 2,200,--!
The real advantage between BM global and BM global+ are not these extra features (in my opinion not worth to pay extra $ 1,000.--, but with global+ you can trade thru BM. If you want to trade thru Jigsaw you have to pay $ 50.--/month (but you get their Journal, which is a great tool).
I'm a visual guy, that's why I prefer/use BM, because IMHO their heatmap is way better, but this is my personal view.
Thanks. 1- About Jigsaw the Institutional is 2299USD as here (daytrader Institutional $2,299.00) https://www.jigsawtrading.com/trading-education/
Do you mean the Jigsaw Independent version that costs 579USD is the same in technical analysis quality as the Institutional, please?
2- Do you mean the Jigsaw Independent version that costs 579USD is a charting and technical analysis tool and not the trading platform? As you mentioned for using it as the trading platform I shall play an extra 50USD/m over 579USD that is the Independent version's cost?
3- About Bookmap Global that costs 990USD, do you mean it's just a charting platform and not a trading platform?
4- And Bookmap Global Plus it's because of being a trading platform that costs 1990USD?
5- In the OFA system here 'OFA CORE ANALYTICS https://orderflowanalytics.com/' will just the OFA core and candles worth 499USD?
6- Is the OFA + AlgoX worth 1249USD or just OFA core 499USD is a better option as AlgoX may cause more confusion on trading than help, as I need to sync my trading with its characteristics, and I don't know if its any good or not and I never tried it yet?
Kindly I have Motivewave Ultimate, Multicharts 14+ASP for placing orders and I use Ninjatrader 8 for charting mostly. Thus placing orders is not much of a concern for me. I just want accurate Order Flow and Volume Analysis tools to add to my current technical analysis collection set, please?
1 and 2: with every package, you get the same software, the difference are the education packages and if you want to trade, you have to pay $ 50.--/month for every package
3 and 4: you cannot trade thru global, if you want to trade thru BM, you need global+
5 and 6: no idea, I don't know these tools and have never tried 'em.
As already said multi-times nobody can say what is the best, you have to find a tool which matches your needs, nothing else. I use BM since years and for me there is no need to search another tool, I just have extended with the MBO-package (stops/icebergs), so a very good tool, became a great tool (for me).
Thanks. In case if I purchased the Jigsaw independent platform 579US + Bookmap Global 990USD and in case I purchased this OFA+AlgoX+ 1744USD for Motivewave Ultimate. And I hope they are worth the money. I will end up having platforms below:
1- Motivewave Ultimate + Add on's
2- Multicharts 14+ASP
3- Jigsaw independent platform
4- Bookmap Global platform
5- Ninjatrader 8 x64
How can I connect these to an accurate Tick and Volume and full dept of market data provider that I pay for data once and share the single data between these 5 platforms on single trading OS on Laptop/PC/Server?
The Rithmic team said I can't log in to the Rithmic data from Moivewave Ultimate and Multicharts 14+ASP at the same time. They told me to share it through these two platforms, I shall use the R-trader but it didn't work, please advise?
Now I'm going to have 5 platforms(on a single machine) and I don't know how to divide the Rithmic data between all 5 of them in real-time or near-realtime, please advise?
You can connect max 2 platforms a the same time, if you connect 5 platforms you have to pay pro-fees and this for every platform. With other words, if you want all 4 CME exchanges, you have to pay (4 x $ 105.-- = $ 420.-- and this 5 times = $ 2,100.--/month)
Man, these tools are just tools, why the heck should someone use all these platforms at the same time, your problem is, that you don't know what you want, you are searching for a money-printing machine, but you can believe me, you will never find it.
