How can I determine how many ticks occur for a given instrument in a specified period (e.g. a day) in NinjaTrader?

I am accustomed to TradeStation where one can simply switch volume from number of 'Trades' to number of 'Ticks' for any timeframe.

I guess I could be not understanding your question?

When you create a chart and choose 'ticks' instead of volume.

can you show a picture from TradeStation as I have used it for 1.5 years?
