Hello all,
I am a beginner and trying to choose a platform to use in order to spend time watching the markets. I am not in a position to start putting money on the line yet so I am looking for something that is functional and incorporates market depth.
I have come across Technician by Chart IQ - it seems like a good product although a little clunky at times. I wondered if anyone has spent a lot of time with this and could offer a review. I have previously been trying to set up NinjaTrader on my machine but for one reason or another it isn't doing what I need.
I like NT because the data feed is free and I can be flexible by practising for as long as I want and not have to stick to a timetable. However, I do not need or use the advanced charting features and I find it gets a little slow which is why I've been looking for an alternative.
I was recomended MarketDelta but their free trial is too short, as is Sierra Charts. IS there another product out there that provides free data and is quite straightforward?
I will stick with this for a while and see how I get one. I would use the charts on Investing.com but they don't show the market depth that I want.
Thanks for your input
