Hi all,

exist the platforms that allow me to screening all futures in range bar or share bar?
Now I use Tradestation and is it possible only screening with time candle or tick.

Hi tradingest

Are you saying that Tradestation does not have range bars? I find that odd given it's a fairly renowned platform.

Anyway, I use CQG and NinjaTrader and both have range bars.

I don't know what share bars are.

Using the range bar for the screening. With TS isn't possible

tradingest ,

you could build your own range bars within code, but this would get quite complex. Alternatively you could use the Multicharts Scanner and have it create text files with the symbols that match your conditions on the last closed bar.

But MC is limited at only 100 symbols. I will try to create a code with TS

tradingest,

the Multicharts Scanner allows you to use point charts. As its functionality is more like Radarscreen in TS, you'd have to write your own code to make sure that it only works with closed bars (as the scanner in TS does) and maybe outputs the results to a text file.
