Hi Traders
One thing that has really helped me in my trading journey, was to have some "mantras" to lean on.
With the word "mantra" I mean a short sentence that reinforces a concept that is crucial profitability.
We all know vary famous ones like: "don't try to catch a falling knives" or “Bulls make money, Bears make money and Pigs get slaughtered”.
So the idea of this thread is to build up a collection of these mantras and in particular those that have to do with psychology.
To give more scope to this thread we should include also some "psychological Hacks", that is something that you like to keep in mind while trading. This might be something that it's not a short sentence, maybe it's a more complex thought that helps you keep yourself in the right mindset.
In the past I used to record some of these mantras and play it in my iPod while I was working so that they could be internalized by my subconscious mind.
Please share!!!
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Use this thread to submit your trading related "one liners" and I will pick the best ones and put them in a random rotation on the home page, near the "Trader's Edge" section.
One-liners mean words of wisdom, quotes, sayings, etc …
yes, I am not sure if "mantras" is the correct word in English... I mean Sentences that might be useful to keep in mind while trading.
The idea is to both discuss and above all share. Using proverbs has always been a way to pass on Wisdom.
sorry, I did not see the picture of an existing post in futures.io.... yes definitely, this thread might overlap with an existing one.
I didn't know it already exist.
