No, the moment the upload is completed it is assigned to your profile. There is no cache and no timeout. And so far no one has been able to reproduce this based on a timing issue.

The issue is the actual file attachments are no longer on the filesystem. AFAIK, the only way they can be removed is if the user removed them from the post or via their UserCP. That is what is odd...

It's no problem. When you upload an attachment, it is on the server. You can upload 5 files, close the window, upload 5 more, etc. It makes no difference. The issue would only be if you removed...
