WOW, This is awesome -- I have been trying to get somoene to work on this with multiple posts. Even tried finding a contract programmer at one point (when I still had money.)
I work and cannot be watching the charts all day. More important I noticed the ES and 6E globex often have reversals at points where there are huge outsized bids or offers that can easily act as "tells" for the change.
Any chance you could also have an alert on a percentage basis of bid vs ask? That would be if the bids are xxx% higher than the asks there would be an alarm. That may work better than trying to pick an acutal # because as the market gets more active a particular number would need to rise, but percentage would handle it automatically.
HUGE KUDOS for setting this up!
Big Mike, I have JTRealStats 1.06 but has heard there is a 2 and version 3 out there. Any chance you could try and find one of the higher versions to be modified for this code?

Big Mike, thanks, I was able to find more up to date “JTRealStats” but actually found too many, making it more confusing. Some are zips and some are indicator .cs
The version 106 attributed to Zondor (that I was using) that seems to be the latest posting April 18th, 2011:
But the post goes to state 106 works for arrows, etc...
Big Mike, is there a way for you to advise LostTrader on which to use as the best / latest version where this additional code would likely be brought forward in other future releases of the indicator?
LostTrader, hopefully you are willing to make this update to a later version as discussed above.

New item: When there is very low volume the percentage becomes too reactive and should not have the percentage alert if there were not a minimum amount of volume. This would allow the percentage indicator to be set to175 and not need altering in the very low periods, i.e… 6:15pm EST. when very low volume would make percent non-important. It would be a minimum value of volume that overrides the percent alert.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Ya know, we can make the DOM alert indicator talk, too. Giving spoken, meaningful messages read by Windows text to speech, constructed on the fly from programatically controlled concatenations of strings and variables. Instead of cryptic and meaningless sound files.
See old dormant thread called Let's Teach Ninjatrader How To Talk... it is not difficult. It works in a similar way to the technology in a GPS that gives spoken turn by turn directions with street names.
