Yes, I was referring to a net number of losing trades vs a monetary amount there. I refer to this during the trading day of course. When you're done for the day, it is definitely important to not only monitor your wins vs. losses but also the money being made or lost. It's a psychological battle more than anything when dealing with your P&L. You start losing and you can't follow your rules because you're scared. The same can be said about being on a winning streak. It's best to just keep your cool and remain humble.

As Lornz mentioned, it's been around forever. Nothing new there but it's interesting that it's just now gaining a buzz. Just another tool to have while observing the internals of the market. It is still very useful but I know people who get along without it just fine. It really just depends on what your trading method is.
-1000 +1000
More people are coming back to it, A friend in Vegas he uses it with other signals 100 % percent win ever time, but it doesnt trigger everyday sometimes days in between. Daytraderrockstar started using it awhile back so alot of norm picked it up.
@Private Banker @Jedi
its amazing after trying all these indi and setups after coming to NInja 4 mths ago, and today going back to my simple charts my read was dead on seeing res and support, watching smart money spike in and move it up around 1pm est> Graet day I quit at 2pm still coming back to check in time to time,like I am now
also likey News after bell in Europe, should collapse markets more
It does help pick extremes and it's a great tool no doubt
but I (your friend) wouldn't claim 100% win with -1000/+1000 readings
red = -1000
green = +1000

It worked better in the past, but the TICK is still worth looking at. There are also other useful market internals...
It's quite interesting that there's suddenly such an interest for internals now. It's just basic logic to watch what the majority of stocks and volume are doing, it's not like it's a secret. I mean, they are on the NYSE quote board.
I don't want too much competition, but there's no rule against creating one's own internals. Adapt or die!
100% followed by" with other signals" and no he doesnt use -1000 +1000 I just threw that in to see who knew to respond, Havent spoke to you before, I glad you responded so I could say Hello. Im new to futures.io (formerly BMT) and I'm glad to be around real day in day out traders. I dont know much but I'm learning. Back to my friend setup, His is a very complex setup, and it might not trigger for days or even weeks depending on the market setups. It does work but you can starve on that system
I've used the nyse tick for intraday scalping, taking divergence signals on or shortly after the tick reaches +/-800. Works pretty well, but you have to be comfortable going counter trend, because these high and low tick readings generally point to short term market reversals, and the majority are against the trend.
